I'd like if exam guidelines included sample questions. Is this the kind of thing you're talking about?

well sample questions and past papers are a minimum. Let's see if we can get a better idea from the lecturers how much scope we have to cover of the course in the exam. They should tell us what won't be asked, which is probably not much.
